Claire was an intelligent fun woman who was devoted to her work. She made a special mark on New Haven with her teaching and invaluable translation services at Yale New Haven Hospital. She was loved and cherished by my dear friend, Maury Steigman.
I wish I’d had more time with her. My sincere condolences to her partner Maury and all who loved her. She fought a courageous battle against her kidney disease with grace❣️
We will miss our frequent outings with Claire and Maury. Despite many reasons health-wise toward the end to be discouraged, she never lost her positive determination, joy of the simple things in life and great sense of humor. It was our good fortune to know her and learn from her worldly knowledge. She and Maury had a loving special relationship, always filled with laughter. We only regret they could not have had more time from the beginning when they enjoyed travel together. Our deepest condolences to Maury. We will all miss her greatly.
Our family is saddened by the loss of our dear friend and “family” member. Angela was so dear to us and we will never forget her warmth, charm, and enduring smile. May she be at peace.
