James Emmett Crowley of Derby, CT, son of the late John Joseph Crowley and Josephine Roy Crowley of Hamden, CT, passed away on August 13th at his home. He is survived by Diane Wilkes, the mother of his two sons, John Crowley of Ansonia, CT and Brian Crowley and his wife Amanda of Worcester, MA, and his sister, Janet, and her husband Chuck Thompson of Mystic, CT. He was a Navy veteran and employed by Better Basement Systems of Seymour for many years. He was also a member of the Derby Elks.
Private funeral arrangements will be made by his family.
My husband and I are so sorry to hear of Jim’s passing. We enjoyed talking to him at the Shelton American Legion and Derby Elks. Our condolences to his family. Rest in Peace, Jim.

I will miss seeing Jim at the Derby Elks. He was a nice guy.
He also worked with my friend Russell Winkler at OEM Controls in Shelton.
Will miss seeing Jim at the Elks. Will always remember him singing his favorite song, Cheeseburger in Paradise when Dutch ran karaoke. Rest in peace Jim.
