Michael R. Kopjanski, 68, lifelong resident of Hamden, passed away after a short illness on December 8, 2025. He was born in New Haven on March 24, 1957 to the late Raymond and Elia Rivolta Kopjanski.

After graduating from Hamden High, Michael received his bachelor’s degree from Norwich University in Vermont. For over 15 years he was a purchasing manager at AGC. As a sports enthusiast, he enjoyed coaching Hamden youth hockey for over 20 years, was an avid sports watcher, and a diehard Rangers fan. He was also a long-time active member of Columbus Lodge, always helping on Bingo nights. Michael was a true, one-of-a-kind, family man. He will be remembered as a loving son, a supportive brother, and a dedicated father.

Michael will be lovingly remembered by his children, Alyssa (Domenico) DeLucia and Nicholas Kopjanski; and sisters, Romie Kopjanski, Adrian (Alston) Hayne, and Stacey (Jake) Gregory.

Friends are invited to visit with his family on Thursday, December 11th from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Beecher & Bennett Funeral Home, 2300 Whitney Ave., Hamden.
