Our thoughts and prayers are with you all. Love and hugs.
Dear Tom, Jill, and Sally,
Phyllis was a second mother to me growing up on Green Hill Rd in Middlebury as Jill was my lifelong best friend although I have missed her dearly for the past three years for whatever reasons. I remember Phyllis as a joyous person who laughed a lot and when we got too much would redirect us to do a chore like cleaning Jill’s room. We were little devils and just stuffed everything into the closet and put a huge toy in front of it and she was so pleased with our accomplishmemt. Jill and I were little devels, and Phyllis knew it but let us get away with a lot. She was a character and a love. I remember going to her once with a n problem and she was a saint and cleared it up for me and I was so relieved. She really was a second mother to me. When she passed Jill didn’t have my number so I didn’t know and a very bad time happened because of that and my heart breaks over and over when I think of that time knowing I missed being there for Jill after losing my own mother, knowing how hard it is. But what is, is. Phyllis will forever be my second mother in my heart and soul and I will always love her in that cacity. And Jill will always remain my best friend. I’m so sorry to the family that I wasn’t there for you during the most difficult time of your life. I love you all like the family you were to me.
Always, Sheri V.
