  1. Jill and family – holding you in prayer and requesting strength and God’s grace as you prepare to say goodbye to your Mom.

  2. Jill- I cannot imagine your pain. May you hold your special bond with your mum in your heart forever. Praying for God’s peace to carry you through this very tough time.

    • Dear Tom, Jill, and Sally,
Phyllis was a second mother to me growing up on Green Hill Rd in Middlebury as Jill was my lifelong best friend although I have missed her dearly for the past three years for whatever reasons. I remember Phyllis as a joyous person who laughed a lot and when we got too much would redirect us to do a chore like cleaning Jill’s room. We were little devils and just stuffed everything into the closet and put a huge toy in front of it and she was so pleased with our accomplishmemt. Jill and I were little devels, and Phyllis knew it but let us get away with a lot. She was a character and a love. I remember going to her once with a n problem and she was a saint and cleared it up for me and I was so relieved. She really was a second mother to me. When she passed Jill didn’t have my number so I didn’t know and a very bad time happened because of that and my heart breaks over and over when I think of that time knowing I missed being there for Jill after losing my own mother, knowing how hard it is. But what is, is. Phyllis will forever be my second mother in my heart and soul and I will always love her in that cacity. And Jill will always remain my best friend. I’m so sorry to the family that I wasn’t there for you during the most difficult time of your life. I love you all like the family you were to me.
      Always, Sheri V.

  3. Dear Tom, Jill, and Sally,
I am so sorry – please accept my deepest condolences and may all the love and memories you share be a comfort- with thoughts and prayers and love

  4. Phyllis was my sister…we shared a special bond not just by blood but our birthdays as well. I was born on April 11 and was Phyllis’s 20th birthday gift. A fun memory I love to share with people is when Phyllis was told I had been born and that I was her birthday gift, she asked that I be put back and be given money instead. She was like that…very witty and funny but ever so loving and kind with a heart of gold. Phyllis was definitely one-of-a kind who loved her family with all her heart…she gave all of herself all of the time and the positive impact she had on people was beyond amazing. Phyllis, I will miss you but will see you again one day. To Tom, Jill, Sally and all, you are in my thoughts and just know Phyllis will forever be in my heart…always and in all ways. I love you dear sister…rest in peace. Sonia
