Andree L. DeCerbo, age 101, passed away peacefully on February 24, 2026 in Wallingford. She was born on October 22, 1924 in Montataire, France to the late George and Agnes (Batardy) Fasquelle. Andree was predeceased by her husband of 78 years, Nicholas “Nick” DeCerbo.

Andree met her loving husband in France while he was deployed for the United States Army during World War II. After moving to the United States after the war, Andree and Nick settled in Wallingford, where they lived most of their lives. She worked as a Payroll Clerk for International Silver Co. Andree also worked as a French and substitute teacher for the Wallingford School System. She was a member of the Hamden/North Haven AMVETS Ladies Post #9, a member of the Wallingford Columbiettes Pinta Council #5, and a volunteer for many years at the West Haven Veterans Medical Center.

Andree is survived by her daughter, Sylviane Cresman and her husband Mark of Wallingford; her son, Karl DeCerbo and his wife Patricia of Orlando, Florida; grandchildren, Rebecca Cresman, Jessica Shincovitch, Rachel Doyle, and Joshua DeCerbo; and 8 great-grandchildren. Besides her husband and parents, she is predeceased by her sisters, Sylviane Fasquette and Claude Hennequin. Andree’s family would like to thank The Regency House of Wallingford for the care and compassion she recieved in her time of need.

Her Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Our Lady of Fatima Church, 382 Hope Hill Road, Wallingford on Tuesday, June 2, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow at St. John’s Cemetery, Wallingford. To send her family a condolence, please see her obituary at www.beecherandbennett.com.
