Alan W. Esposito, age 57, of Hamden, passed away on November 6, 2013. Born in New Haven on April 5, 1956, he was a son of Anna Acampora Esposito of New Haven and the late William Espostio, Sr. Alan is the husband of Cynthia Conant Esposito; father of Julia Esposito of Wallingford; step-father of Tiffany Budeit & her husband Mark, Jr of North Branford, Rebecca & Abby Andreucci both of Hamden; grandfather of Thomas, Aija & Alana Budeit; brother of Laura Ketter & her husband Levern of South Carolina, Annette Carbone & her husband John of Southington & William Esposito Jr, of Hamden and uncle of Cristina & Katie Esposito, Kenneth James USN and Christopher James. He was employed as an Lineman by SNET Co. for over 30 years, Alan also owned and operated Esposito Renovations & Design Company for many years. He enjoyed playing his guitar whenever he could and was a 20 year member of PCA, Porsche Club of America. His funeral will be Saturday, Nov. 9th at 10:00 AM from BEECHER & BENNETT FUNERAL HOME, 2300 Whitney Ave, Hamden, followed by his Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 11:00 AM in Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, Whitney Ave, Hamden. Friends may also visit with his family at the funeral home on Friday, Nov. 8th from 5:00 to 8:00 PM. Interment will be private.

  2. Al was a great friend and a fun companion at golf. He would always do anything to help. I will always remember his colorful expressions and love of life.

  3. Alan was my childhood friend and classmate at Nathan Hale. A sweet boy, smiling and kind then , with his motorcycle and guitar as a teen. We lost touch after grammar school but I remember him fondly and am saddened by his passing. I recognized his photo immediately. My sympathies to Mrs. Esposito and his family. Laura, Annette, William- thinking of you. Hoping Alan is safe in heaven now
