Alice Calabrese

West Hartford- Alice (Clark) (Mitchell) Calabrese, 99, passed away peacefully on Monday, November 16, 2015 at Hughes Health & Rehab. She was born May 24, 1916 in Lowell, MA a daughter of the late Frederick and Jessie (Vaillancourt) Clark. Alice was married to the late Donald Gregory Mitchell and the late Anthony Calabrese. She lived in Meriden, CT for many years and was a longtime member of First Congregational Church. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother who will be greatly missed. Alice is survived by two sons, Donald Mitchell and his wife Nancy of West Hartford, Douglas Mitchell of Southington, a daughter, Carol Roberts and her husband Harold of Southington, and Marsha Mitchell of Southington. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a son Roy Mitchell and his wife Doris of Paris, AR, sister, Jessie Mae Clark and brother Frederick Clark. Funeral services and burial in Walnut Grove Cemetery are private. The Beecher & Bennett-Flatow Funeral Home, 48 Cook Ave., Meriden has been entrusted with the arrangements.
