Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. Alice was a grand old lady. She was very active in Center Church. We all knew her as Lou. She had a good long life, may she rest in peace!

  2. Aunt Lui was wonderful and we are going to miss her. She not only remembered me on birthdays and holidays but all 3 of my children as well, that meant a lot to me. Even though we were miles apart I’ve thought about her often and will miss sending her holiday chocolates.
We love you rest peacefully Aunt Lui.

  3. I remember Mrs Foss from many years ago as a friend of Richard ‘s (Rex). I am very sorry for the loss of your beloved mother. Sending good thoughts to Richard and Sonia
    I

  4. My condolences to the family and loved ones of Alice. My mom, Helen, was friends with her and they were part of a small group of women who had worked for the Meriden Board of Ed and who used to have lunch together every Wednesday at different local restaurants into their 90’s! My sister and I have many fond memories of Alice and the various activities in which she, Mom and the other BOE women participated. May Alice Rest in Peace.

  5. Lou was one of the kindest people. She was always willing to help and often did help out at church. She will be missed.

  6. Our thoughts and prayers are with Rick and his family. We are going to miss Aunt Lui more than words can express. We have so many wonderful memories of her. We enjoyed her yearly visits to Florida and our visits to Meridan. My children and grandchildren loved the birthday cards she sent always with a crisp $1 bill inside!
Rest well Aunt Lui! We love you and give Dad a BIG hug for us

  7. It is such a blessing that I knew my Great Aunt into my adult years. We would write to each other and send birthday cards. Her cards and letters always warmed my heart and made my birthdays that much more special. Aunt Lui was such a cool, tough woman that I will always admire and love. Rest in peace, Aunt Lui <3 <3
