Allen Chasse, 62, of East Haddam passed away on June 22, 2018 at the MidState Medical Center. He was born in Meriden on August 25, 1955, son of the late Phillip and Barbara White Chasse. He worked all his life as a carpenter and construction worker. Allen loved the country, NASCAR, and spending time with his family. Allen is survived by his significant other Sue Arisco; son Christopher D'Amore-Chasse (Shannan); grandchildren Liliana Marie, Brielle Ann, and Carter James D'Amore-Chasse; sister Donna Scott (Ron); and step-sisters Robin Merola (Dominic) and Gail Chasse; and nephews Eric Mangum and Cory Scott. He is also survived by Sue's children Ron Humiston (Adrienne), and David Humiston (Kristen) and their children Madeline Anne and Thomas David Humiston. Allen was predeceased by his brothers Gary and Phillip Chasse; and step-sister Kim Wrublevski. Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Allen's family on Thursday, June 28, 2018 from 5:00 to 8:00PM at Beecher & Bennett-Flatow Funeral Home, 48 Cook Ave., Meriden. A graveside committal service will be held on Friday, June 29 at 11:00AM at Sacred Heart Cemetery, Gypsy Lane, Meriden. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Allen's family.

  2. Al, we always looked out for each other no matter what was going on in our lives. We had our ups and downs but we always loved each other and that never changed. No one or nothing could ever change that. I miss our calls (tears) and its so strange not being able to talk to you and at times I feel lost but I know your in a better place. I love you more than you ever knew. A part of me has gone when Mom, Dad, and now you left me. I know your not suffering and in pain anymore. I hope your at peace and with Mom and Dad.
