Alta Warren Munro

In Woodbridge, March 6, 2004. Alta Fuller Munro, formerly of Bethany. Wife of the late L. Gregory Munro. Born in Chelsea, Ma. on Feb. 21, 1906, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Alta Rich Fuller. A graduate of the Hartford Hospital School of Nursing in 1928, she was the oldest member of their Alumni Association. Alta was the Head Nurse for over 20 years at the Yale Psychiatric Institute. A Bethany resident since 1948, she belonged to the Bethany Seniors and chairman of their Travel program. Alta is survived by a son, G. Bruce Munro of Bethany, a daughter , Alta Kirby Munro Lander of Litchfield, N.H. , 7 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by brothers; Chester and Charles Fuller. Funeral service at BEECHER AND BENNETT, 2300 WHITNEY AVE., HAMDEN on Thursday, March 11, at 11 A.M. Friends may call Wednesday from 4 - 7 P.M.
