Amelia 'Lee' Passariello, 81, passed away peacefully on Sept. 1, 2015. She was born in New Haven, CT on April 25, 1934 to the late Armand and Ana Pascarella Amendola. Beloved mother to Sally (Brian) Morton and Louis (Nancy Leverich) Passariello, both of West Haven. She was predeceased by her husband of 55 years, Salvatore Passariello, sister, Christine Fradiani of East Haven and brother Alphonse Amendola of Trumbull. A former model and dance teacher in the 1950's, she was also a graduate of Stone Business Academy and later studied business law at the University of New Haven and interior design at LaSalle University. Together with her husband, they owned and operated Orange Electric & Lighting Company for over 60 years before retiring in 2010 and moving from Orange to West Haven. She will always be remembered for her love for her family. Funeral from BEECHER & BENNETT-TAYLOR FUNERAL HOME, 410 Campbell Ave., West Haven, Wednesday, Sept. 9 at 9:30 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Holy Infant Church, Racebrook Rd., Orange at 10 a.m. Friends may also visit with her family at the funeral home on Tuesday from 4-8 p.m. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Yale-New Haven Hospital, Office of Development, PO Box 1849, New Haven, CT 06508-9979.
