Amuleitha 'Ina' Christmas Ward

Amuleitha 'Ina' Christmas Ward, age 87, of Canton St., West Haven, passed away on August 8, 2012 in Arden House of Hamden. She was born on August 22, 1924 in Trinidad & Tobago, West Indies a daughter of the late James Christmas, Sr. & Frances Nicholson Christmas. Ina was the widow of Maurice L. Ward; mother of Gracy P. Brown on West Haven; grandmother of Zaida, Lucy, Gracy A., Winston and Ina; great grandmother of Antonio, Dealyce, Nalani, Lucas and Timothy; sister of Lynne Holder, Velaria Christmas, Cavan Christmas & the late Ethleen Murray, Stephen Nicholson, Rosalind, Avil, Luke & James Christmas, Jr. She also leaves many nieces, nephews & cousins including Maritza, David, Gary, Summoy, Harris, Natalie. Ina was retired from Yale University. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Memorial Service on Saturday, August 18, 2012 at 11:00 AM in the Kingdom Hall Jehovah Witness Church, 210 Old Grassy Hill Rd., Orange, CT 06477. Interment will be private. Arrangements are in care of BEECHER & BENNETT - TAYLOR FUNERAL HOME, 410 Campbell Ave., West Haven, CT.
