Amy Jean A. Raccio, 91, of Hamden, passed away on January 1, 2021. Born in New Haven on February 28, 1929, she was a daughter of the late Carl Theodore, Sr. & Bernice Ella (Batchelor) Anderson. Amy was the widow of Richard P. Raccio. She is survived by her son Bruce Raccio of Waterbury; her daughter Dayle Ann Richiello; and grandchildren Tiffany, Tracy, and Spencer Raccio and Gabriele Richiello. Amy was predeceased by her sister Lorraine Andersen, and her brother Carl T. Andersen, Jr. A resident of Hamden all her life, Amy was a Dietary Aide at the Hamden Congregate Housing, where she also resided.
Friends may attend her Graveside Service on Saturday, January 9th, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. at Centerville Cemetery, Washington Avenue, Hamden. Arrangements are in care of BEECHER & BENNETT FUNERAL HOME, Hamden. In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to the Vietnam Veterans of America at: www.vva.org.
