Andre Paul Dubois
Meriden- Andre Paul Dubois, 34, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Sunday, December 29, 2013. Born on January 1, 1979 in Windham, CT he is the son of Dennis and Michelle VerBurg of Columbia, CT. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his grandparents, Roland and Maggie Dubois of Windham and Gilbert and Betty VerBurg of North Charleston, SC, two sisters; Jeannie Ryon and Melissa Morgan, His closest friend since grammar school, Michael Roman. Aunts and Uncles, Bert & Sue Cyr, Jacky & Hal Moulton, Monique & Brian Roy, Marc & Bonnie Dubois, Al & Debra Walters, Jimmy & Stacy VerBurg, Pete & Annette Mcwhirter, Chris & Jill VerBurg, Mary Mills , nieces, nephews and cousins, a special friend Naraeia Herbig and those who were close to him at New Life Church and Baptist Fellowship. Andre attended Windham High School where he enjoyed playing football under Coach Crudden. He graduated from Johnson & Wales with a culinary degree. Andre's passion was cooking and he loved being in the kitchen at his church. He was responsible for coordinating culinary events at New Life Church. This is where he truly felt at home serving others for the Lord. He also worked for the Lincoln school in Meriden. He will be missed. Relatives and friends may call at New Life Church, 350 High Hill Rd., Wallingford, CT on Friday, Jan. 3 from 4-8 p.m. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 4, 2014 at 11am at New Life Church, the Rev. Will Marotti will officiate. Burial will be in the spring. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Andre Dubois scholarship c/o New Life Church, www.newlifechurchct.com.
