Andrew William Bowen

Suddenly in Sarasota, FL, Feb. 9, 2008, Andrew William Bowen, 79, beloved husband of 50 years to Jeanne Millette Bowen of East Haven formerly of West Haven, father of Kathleen Mary Bowen of West Haven, William Andrew Bowen of Bethany and Gary James Bowen of West Haven. Also survived by his beloved granddaugher, Meghan Elizabeth Stacy. He was predeceased by a brother, Winston Jerome Bowen. Andrew was born in New Haven, Feb. 9, 1929 a son of the late Winston and Viola Doolittle Bowen. He was a printer at Eastern Press of New Haven where he worked for 32 years and had also been employed as a Captain at Ogden Security for 20 years. He was a member of Gateway Christian Fellowship Church of West Haven. Funeral arrangements are private and under the direction of BEECHER & BENNETT-TAYLOR FUNERAL HOME, 410 Campbell Ave., West Haven.
