Angela 'Angie' L. Daniels, 50, of New Haven, passed away on October 8, 2014 after a courageous battle with cancer. Born in New Haven on January 26, 1964 to the late Lorraine Victoria Augustine and Richard J. Pouncey, Sr of West Haven. As a child, Angie attended Devereau Glen Holmes School in Washington, CT, where she played softball. She also had many fond memories from her time as a Girls' Scout. For the past 13 years, she was employed by Blue Cross Blue Shield as a sales coordinator. Angie was a generous individual in every way possible and was always willing to lend a helping hand. Besides her family, she loved fashion and had a keen eye for the latest trends. More than anything, her family and friends will miss her kind heart, her wittiness, and her funny personality. Angie leaves her children, Jamese Parker, Alanna Daniels, and Jeffrey Pouncey all of New Haven; siblings, Steven Augustine of Milford, Lorraine Augustine of West Haven, Richard J. Pouncey, Jr. of New Bedford, MA, Robyn Odei-Ntiri of New Haven, Raymond C., (Melissa) Pouncey, Sr of Killingworth, Zsa Zsa Massey of Tennessee, and Marcus Pouncey of New Haven; grandchildren, Juelz Parker and Robert Lee Joins IV both of New Haven; many aunts & uncles and a host of nieces & nephews and cousins. Pre-deceased by her brother, Frankie Augustine and her grandparents. Friends may visit with her family on Sunday, October 12th, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at BEECHER & BENNETT, 2300 Whitney Ave, Hamden. Her Funeral Service will take place on Monday morning at 10:00 a.m. in the funeral home followed by a burial in Evergreen Cemetery, New Haven.

  1. An angel taken from us way too soon. Its so hard to believe that you are gone. Im so still in a state of shock because it feels like yesterday we having talks about our children and other things. At least you don’t have to suffer no more you are now with Our Father! My prayers are with all of our family. This is not an easy thing to have to cope with. Angie you are greatly missed but will NEVER be forgotten.

  2. Angela should be an example to all of us, she was kind, generous, loving, respectful and forgiving, often times at her own expense. She gave of herself and she gave from her heart. We call that .selfless.. We should all strive to have those characteristics. She was beautiful both inside and outside. Now she truly is an Angel (which is the root of her name)! She will be missed by all of us that were a part of her world and we have been blessed just for knowing her. Rest in peace, niece. I love you
