Anita Marie Kasle, age 78, of Mather St. Hamden, passed away July 30, 2009 at Connecticut Hospice in Branford. Anita is the widow of Daniel P. Kasle; mother of Valerie & her husband Thomas Dooley of Franklin and Stephen & his wife Janet Kasle of Watertown; sister of Madeline Branchini of Hamden; grandmother of Kristen Dooley, Leo & Adam Kasle and aunt of Diane & Kimberly Mucha. Born in New Haven on September 16, 1930 she was a daughter of the late Constantino and Julia Idarola Carbone. Anita was a graduate of Hillhouse High School and a 1951 graduate of Grace New Haven Hospital School of Nursing. A self employed private duty Registered Nurse for many years she later was employed at Whitney Center in Hamden. Funeral from BEECHER & BENNETT FUNERAL HOME, 2300 Whitney Ave. Hamden on Monday, August 3, 2009 at 9:30 AM, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am in Blessed Sacrament Church, Hamden. Friends may visit with her family at the funeral home on Monday from 8:00 to 9:30 am. Interment will take place in Beaverdale Memorial Park, New Haven. Contributions in Anita's memory may be made to Conn. Hospice Inc. - 100 Double Beach Rd. Branford, CT 06405.
