Ann Marie Morgan, 65, of Gales Ferry, CT passed away peacefully at St. Raphael’s Hospital on September 27, 2024, surrounded by her family. She lovingly leaves behind her husband, John Morgan; her daughter, Alicia (Dan) Harbin; grandson, Barrett Harbin; brother, Peter (Joanne) Seymour; and sister-in-law, Robbin Seymour. Ann was predeceased by her brothers, Stephen Seymour and Gary Seymour.
Ann was born on June 5, 1959, in Worcester, MA to the late John and Norma (Foley) Seymour. After moving from Massachusetts and settling into Connecticut with her husband, Ann worked as an elementary paraprofessional for the Ledyard Department of Education for many years. Working with elementary aged children was a great joy in her life. She found fulfillment in watching them succeed and happiness in the friendships she created with her colleagues. Recently, she had enjoyed spending time and watching her grandson grow. Ann enjoyed the simple things of life like a hot cup of tea with a chocolate brownie, listening to the rain from bed, sunshine on her face while sitting next to the pool and good conversations.

There are no words. The Morgan family was a staple in my childhood. Thank you for keeping me on the straight and narrow Mrs. Morgan. Love you guys.

Ann was a classmate and friend during grammar, middle and high school while growing up in Main South. She was always kind and caring. I wish the Seymour and Morgan families peace in her passing.
So very sorry for your loss.
I am so sad to read this news. Ann was one of my childhood friends from Hitchcock Road. We shared many fun times as kids and we were fortunate to reconnect on Facebook a few years back. My deepest sympathy to all her loved ones. May Ann rest in eternal peace.
