Ann Visconti

Ann Visconti, 99, wife of the late Andrew Visconti, passed away peacefully at her home in North Haven on February 10, 2014. Born in Bridgeport on August 6, 1914 to the late John and Julia Gnat Pancak. Ann is survived by her daughter, Andrea Visconti of Hamden and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her siblings, Wilma Pacelli, Julia Fisher, Mary McCormick, and William Pancak. Ann grew up in Bridgeport before moving to Stratford and then to North Haven where she has lived for the last 60 years. She was a bookkeeper for different companies over the years, including her husband's business, Central Cold Storage. Dancing, especially line dancing was a favorite activity of Ann's. She was very active with the North Haven Senior Center where she would teach line dancing. Trips to her niece's house on the Cape were always enjoyable and she loved spending time in Florida by the water. Friends are invited to visit with Ann's family at BEECHER & BENNETT, 2300 Whitney Ave., Hamden, on Friday, February 14th from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated in Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, 2819 Whitney Ave., Hamden at 11:00 a.m. Burial will take place in St. Michael's Cemetery in Stratford.
