Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. As I spoke to family members on Wednesday afternoon & was told of grandma’s passing I was of course filled with sadness. At the same time when alone with my thoughts I was filled with happiness. My happiness came from the many good & cherished memories I have of my grandma. As a child I spent alot of time at my grandma’s house. She would take me on the bus to downtown New Haven. I remember shopping at Lerner’s for school dresses. When the movie Sound Of Music came out she took my sister Janine & me to see it.This was the best she took me to the New York World’s Fair! I was young & can’t remember the entire trip but I do know because of her I had that experience! It was at my grandma’s that I seen the first man to walk on the moon. When I got older & Lara was born I spent some more time there because I would babysit Lara some Sat. nights. When I got married & had my children she was always good to my husband & loved my kids. While writing this I am tearful for the first time since I heard of grandma’s death. My tears are of sadness but also for good memories of my grandma. May you rest in peace, Love, Paula

  2. Dear Linda and Family, my sincere condolences to all of you at this time. Sorry for your loss my prayers and thoughts are with you. Carolyn Esposito
