  1. I\’ve known Ann all my life, ever since she escorted me to Kindergarten at the First Avenue Grade School in West Haven. Whenever we got together she would remind me, with her wonderful smile and sparkling eyes, of how I .sat on the trolley tracks on Campbell Avenue and wouldn\’t move — baaad!. She and I were born on the same day, so I was sure to hear about my youthful recalcitrance at least once per year when we exchanged birthday greetings…. I\’ll also remember Ann as Tom\’s helpmate in his lifelong Amelia Earhart project (2 books published); whenever we visited from California, our family would be sure to visit with Ann and Tom to listen raptly to his lecture on the latest on the Amelia Earhard incident; we, including Ann, were always spellbound, and this moment inevitably became a ritual to us that we treasured. I\’ll never forget these moments with Ann and Tom. Goodbye, Ann and Tom. I\’ll love you always. — Fred —

  2. My deceased husband, Harold, and I will never forget the many summers we spent with Ann and Tom at their home visiting and recalling all the .old. memories of our two families over the years. Through the years,Ann was always ready with a glass of wine, while Tom would bring us up-to-date on the latest with his Amelia Earhart book (both books)as we listened raptly. Our summer was not complete without this visit. We\’ll miss you, Ann and Tom. We\’ll always remember those wonderful summers with you…. Marianne and Hal Kurzweil
