Anne (Hotchkiss) Sullivan

Sullivan, Anne Janette (Hotchkiss), 91, Hamden, Connecticut, died Wednesday August 19, 2015 at Yale-New Haven Hospital. She died peacefully, surrounded by her family. Anne was born in Hamden to Gertrude and Raymond Hotchkiss. She lived her whole life in Hamden and graduated from Hamden High School. She was a devoted wife, loving mother and talented upholstery maker. She later worked as a care giver at Whitney Center. Anne is survived by her husband Daniel Sullivan; her children Gary Sullivan of Bethany (and wife Kristine), Kevin Sullivan of Wethersfield (and wife Katie) and Kathy Burrill of Marlborough (and husband Jordan); her grandchildren Michael, Margaret, Patrick and Connor; and her great grandchildren Eva, Jameson and Calin. Anne was predeceased by her children Margaret and Raymond, and her sister Jean Foote and brother Charles 'Tyler' Hotchkiss. A memorial service for Anne will be held Sunday, August 23, 2015 at 12:30 PM at Beecher and Bennett Funeral Home, 2300 Whitney Avenue, Hamden. The service will include a visiting time for family and friends from 12:30 - 1:30 PM, and a short prayer service at 1:30 PM. Burial will be private, immediately following the prayer service.
