In New Haven, Jan. 21, 2003, Anne Lupoli Daily, 87, wife of the late Edward J. Daily formerly of Sheahan Dr., Hamden. Survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Thomas E. and Deborah DeMusis Daily of New Haven, a granddaughter, Katherine Daily, sisters, Carol Diana of Hamden, Lillian Guarnieri of Hamden, Helen Papa of North Haven and Nancy Cavallaro of West Haven. She was predeceased by brothers, Mario, Alfred and Peter Lupoli and a sister, Concetta Davidson. Anne was born in the Bronx, a daughter of the late Pietro & Antionetta Viscardi Lupoli. She was an office clerk with the International Union of Operating Engineers for over 10 years and was a communicant of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church. Funeral leaving BEECHER & BENNETT, 2300 Whitney Ave., Hamden, Thurs., Jan. 23 at 9:45 a.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church at 10:30 a.m. Interment in St. Mary Cemetery. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home from 8:30 a.m. Thursday. I was so sorry to hear that you lost a loved one in death. It seems so unfair that death should have the power to take away someone you love. And when it happens, the thought of never again being able to talk to, laugh with, or hold your loved one can be most difficult to bear. When my mother died a few years ago I felt that my life had ended. I missed her so much and still do. What gave me comfort and hope is looking at the example of Jesus Christ when he was on earth. Seeing how much he cared for people then and now helped me to get through this difficult time. Yes, Jesus Christ promised that millions now dead will live again on this earth and have the prospect of remaining on it forever under peaceful, paradisaic conditions.
