Annette L. Rowell

MERIDEN - Annette L. Rowell, 82, of 60 Hanover St., died Friday, April 2, 2004, at MidState Medical Center. She was the wife of the late Rene Gosselin and the late Hillard Rowell. Born in Weedon, Quebec, Canada on Sept. 15, 1921, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Marie Delude LaPointe. She was a member of St. Laurent Church and the St. Ann Guild. She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Lucille and Bernard Wilhelm of Milford; a a son and daughter-in-law, Leonard and Joanne Gosselin of Vernon; two special grandchildren, Danielle Bourque of Milford and Lisa Holtz of Florida; two sisters, Jeanne Chiaro of Meriden and Theresa Belanger of Florida; a brother, Joseph LaPointe of Putney, VT; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by eight brothers and sisters. The funeral will be held Monday at 11 a.m. at St. Laurent Church, 124 Camp St., Meriden, where a Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated by the Rev. Joseph DiSciacca. Burial will be in St. Laurent Cemetery. Relatives and friends may call Monday from 9 a.m to 10:30 a.m. at BEECHER & BENNETT FLATOW FUNERAL HOME, 48 Cook Ave., Meriden, prior to the funeral.
