Anthony L. Morrisette
In New Haven, Monday, February 16, 2009, Anthony L. Morrisette, 70, of West Haven. Husband of 49 years to Judith Hugendubel Morrisette; father of Ronnie ('Mo') Morrisette of Midland, TX, Deborah Koenig of West Haven and grandfather of Christopher, Cameron, Kevin and Rachael Koenig. He is also survived by sister Faye and husband Mario Vinalon of Portsmouth, VA, step-sister Sylvia Godwin of Virginia Beach, VA, brother Roy Morrisette of Plymouth, PA, brothers-in-law Wayne and Fredrick Hugendubel, sister-in-law Joanne Case, mother-in-law Geraldine Hugendubel all of West Haven and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother, Don Morrisette. A son of the late Floyd and Doris Lufty Morrisette, Mr. Morrisette was born in South Norfolk, VA on August 18, 1938. He was employed by Olin Mathieson, Burndy Corp., and was a sales rep. for A.B. King, Co., Promoco Mfg. and Leed Himmel. He also owned and operated West Haven Skate Sharpening of West Haven. Mr. Morrisette received his commercial pilot's license and loved to fly. He was a lifetime member of the City Point Yacht Club and the Aircraft Owners Pilots Assoc., A.O.P.A. He also served 3 years in the U.S. Army and was stationed at the Nike Base in West Haven. Friends may visit with the family Friday, February 20 from 4-7 PM at BEECHER & BENNETT-TAYLOR, 410 CAMPBELL AVE., WEST HAVEN. A funeral service will take place at 6:30 PM Friday at the funeral home. The family asks that flowers be omitted.
