Anthony ''TIPPY'' Palmer Hamden- Anthony A. ''Tippy'' Palmer, 94, husband of the late Rena Benatti Palmer, formerly of Maher Ave., died in Whitney Manor Wednesday January 2, 2002. He was born in Wallingford, CT, August 12, 1907 a son of the late Andrew and Emma D'Orsi Palmieri and had lived in Hamden since 1930. He was employed as an architectural draftsman for the Leo F. Caproni Assoc. for 30 years until retiring in 1970 and later worked in the maintainence dept. at Quinnipiac College. Mr. Palmer is survived by a son, Anthony A. Palmer, Jr. of New Haven, six nieces and seven nephews. He was predeceased by two sisters, Margaret Girasuolo, and Rose Dysart, and two brothers, John Palmer and Silvio Palmieri. Friends and relatives are welcome to visit on Sunday, Jan. 6, 2002 at BEECHER & BENNETT, 2300 Whitney Ave., Hamden from 12 - 2 p.m.
