Antoinette Tarini

Antoinette Carbone Tarini, 96, of Orange, wife of the late Anthony Tarini, passed away at home on Thursday January 14, 2016. She was born in New Haven on March 28, 1919 to the late Paul and Theresa Puglia Carbone. She is survived by her loving sons; Anthony and his wife Elaine of Wallingford, and Mark and his wife Geraldine of Sudbury, MA. Also survived by her grandchildren, Dr. Beth Anne Tarini-Gambatese and her husband Brady, and Gabrielle and William Tarini, and great-grandchild Anthony James Gambatese. A consummate storyteller and lifelong learner, Antoinette received a BA degree from Southern Connecticut University in 1987 at age 68 and a MS degree in 1993 at age 74. A gentle, kind-hearted soul, she was devoted to her family and an inspiration to all whose lives she touched. Her funeral will leave from the BEECHER & BENNETT-TAYLOR FUNERAL HOME, 410 Campbell Ave. West Haven on Monday January 18 at 9:30am for a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10am in St. Anthony's Church, New Haven. Entombment to follow in the St. Lawrence Mausoleum. Friends are invited to visit with her family on Sunday January 17 from 3-7pm in the funeral home.
