Antonio Coppola

Antonio Coppola, 86, of Hamden passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 22, 2018 at Whitney Manor. He was the beloved husband of Ersilia Friello Coppola. Antonio was born in Ruviano, Italy on July 31, 1932, son of the late Giuseppe and Maria Rosa Ricciuti. He lived in Hamden since 1973. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, Giovanna, Rosamaria, and Joseph Coppola, of Hamden; and siblings, Italia, Pino (Addolorata), and Vittorio (Paolina) Coppola, of Piana di Monteverna, Italy. He was predeceased by four brothers, Michele, Angelo, Filomeno, and Ciro Coppola. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday, December 26 at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, Hamden. Everyone is invited to visit with his family from 9:30-10:30 a.m. at Beecher & Bennett Funeral Home, 2300 Whitney Ave., Hamden. Burial will follow in Centerville Cemetery, Hamden.
