Arthur Gordon Macholl, Sr.
Arthur Gordon Macholl, Sr., 78, lifelong resident of West Haven, passed away on July 2, 2015 at CT Hospice. Born on September 20, 1936 to the late Leo and Doris Gordon Macholl, Sr. Arthur was a proud veteran having served in the U.S. Navy. He enjoyed riding, was a member of the CT Street Rod Association, and appreciated classic cars. Over the years he managed different restaurants and bars in the area. Arthur will be remembered by his children, Arthur (Grace) Macholl, Gerri Macholl El-Zoul, Richard (Rosilina) Macholl, Steven Macholl, Patricia (Ronald) Estes, & Michelle Macholl Hoffman, his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and his longtime companion Diane Roche. Predeceased by his daughter, Kim Ann Macholl, and brother, Rick Macholl. Friends are invited to visit with his family on Wednesday, July 8th at BEECHER & BENNETT-TAYLOR FUNERAL HOME, 410 Campbell Ave, West Haven from 4:00 to 8:00p.m. Burial will be private. Sorry for your loss he was a great man and father even played with us when we were little kids. God has an amazing angel in heaven! RIP
