Barbara Ann Robinson Knap
Barbara Ann Robinson Knap, age 81, of Hamden, passed away peacefully at home with her family by her side on June 7, 2017. She was born in New Haven on September 8, 1935 to the late Louis and Elsie Henry Robinson. She is survived by her former husband Richard Knap, daughters Valentina and Jill Knap, sons Steven (Susan) and Scott Knap, sisters Jo Ann Gorman and Patricia Freemantle, brother Kenneth (Ruth Sanderson) Robinson, and sister-in-law Rae Robinson. Barbara also leaves her grandchildren Natasha, Richard, Corey, and Vladimir Knap, and Kathryn and Colin Ecsedy. She is predeceased by her brother Donald Robinson. Barbara was a registered nurse, having worked for the Arden House in Hamden for over 35 years. Friends are invited to attend a Panachida Service on Saturday, July 8 at 3:30pm at Holy Transfiguration Church, 285 Alden Ave., New Haven.
