Hamden- Barbara Clifford Chase, 81, wife of the late Howard K. Chase, of Forest Court North passed away Friday November 7, 2003 after a brief illness. She was born in New Haven a daughter of the late Patrick and Mary Sullivan Clifford and had resided in Hamden for over 50 years. Devoted mother of Susan Civitello and her husband Joe Civitello of Hamden, Deborah A. Chase of Hamden, Kevin H. Chase and his wife Mary Chase of West Hartford. Sister of Mary Ostrander and Katherine Brozek both of Naples, FL., James Clifford of Madison, John Clifford of Branford, Patrick Clifford of Orange and Daniel Clifford of Middlebury. Loving grandmother of three grandchildren; Dana Civitello, Emily and Garrett Chase. Funeral from BEECHER & BENNETT 2300 Whitney Ave. Hamden Tuesday morning November 11 at 9:15. Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated in St. Rita Church at 10 A M. Burial in All Saints Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be sent to the St. Rita School Endowment Fund, 1620 Whitney Ave. Hamden, CT 06517.
Deb, Your mother will always be your guardian angel on your shoulder. She was a beautiful lady. You and your family were very blessed to have such a wonderful mom, grandmother and special friend. Love, Doreen
