Barbara Lynn Ruiz, 57, of East Haven passed away on January 25, 2023 at Yale-New Haven Hospital after a short illness. She was born in New Haven on September 4, 1965 to Mary Yashenko Gritzbach and the late Robert Gritzbach. Barbara will be lovingly remembered by her husband, Gabriel; her son, Gabriel R. Ruiz; sisters, Cheryl (Jack) Senberg and Denise Gritzbach; her nieces and nephews; and cat, Manny.
Friends and family are welcome to attend Barbara’s Graveside Service on Monday, January 30th at 1:00 p.m. in Beaverdale Memorial Park. Arrangements in care of BEECHER & BENNETT FUNERAL HOME, 2300 Whitney Ave, Hamden. Memorial contributions in Barbara’s name may be made to the National Kidney Foundation at www.kidney.org.

    I am so sorry for your loss. I have so many wonderful memories of our families growing up together on View Street. When I think of Barbara, I remember her as a little girl with those pretty blonde curls and a sweet mischievous smile!
    I hope you find comfort knowing that Barbara is at peace with her Dad now in heaven. Please know that I am here for you and I love you all very much. ❤️

She was a special part of our lives , although life took us in different directions but we always were a text away 🙂 my heart is aching she was much to young to had left this world, God help her fily as they need the strength to grieve such a loving women.
