Barbara Mary Santi

Barbara Mary Santi, age 91, of New Haven, formerly of Milford, passed away on April 22, 2013. Born in Windsor Locks, CT on April 7, 1922 she was a daughter of the late Domenico & Margaret Carnevale Santi and sister of the late Jane S. Cantore. Barbara is survived by dear friends, Hilda Eligio, Mark Eligio & wife Sue, children Mark Anthony, Justin & Josh; Paulette Carrano & husband David, children Shauna & Tara and her Godchild Michele Eligio & husband Richard Simons & son Nicholas. Barbara was employed by Yale New Haven Hospital, working in their Anesthesia Department for 18 years, retiring in 1985. She later volunteered for the Milford Soup Kitchen for 12 years. Friends are invited to attend her Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday, April 27th at 10:00 am in St. Anthony Church, Washington Ave, New Haven. Interment will follow in St. Lawrence Cemetery, West Haven. Arrangements are in care of BEECHER & BENNETT - TAYLOR FUNERAL HOME, 410 Campbell Ave, West Haven.
