Thomas, Barbara 'Bobbie' Bloomer In New Haven, Jan. 15, 2007, Barbara Jane (Bobbie) Bloomer Thomas, 74, of York St., West Haven, wife of Howard Thomas, Sr.; mother of Howard Thomas, Jr. and Craig W. Thomas both West Haven and Holly C. Ciecierski of North Haven; grandmother of Danny & Crystal Thomas and Brittany & Brooke Ciecierski; great-grandmother of Danny & Eboney Thomas and Alyiah Myrick; sister of Violet DeBunio of Ledyard, CT and the late Dolina Jenkins. Bobbie was born in West Haven, May 25, 1932, a daughter of the late Frederick and Dolina Eughart Bloomer. A lifelong resident of West Haven, she was a file clerk for the West Haven V.A. Hospital for 12 years, retiring in 1995. Funeral service Friday, Jan. 19, 2007 at 10 a.m. at BEECHER & BENNETT-TAYLOR Funeral Home, 410 Campbell Ave., West Haven. She made us smile, made us laugh, Aunt Bobbie was a wonderful, caring person with a big heart. I will miss her very much but I know she will watch over all of us everyday. Love you and miss you Aunt Bobbie.
She was the sweetest, most considerate person I ever knew. A wonderful wife, mother, sister and sister-in-law mother-in-law- and grandmother. She will be greatly missed.
