Julia that’s beautiful! You’re a wonderful friend love you
My grandma was the most amazing woman. She was like a second mom to me. I have so many fond memories of her from my childhood. One of my favorites is making the Portuguese bread with her. Also, I loved spending our Sunday’s at her house where she’d make a huge meal for all of us. I use to love messing up her hair. It would get her all riled up, but I knew she secretly loved it. She was the most strong willed person, and would always tell it like it is. I loved that about her. As I got older and went to Southern, my friends and I would go to her house and she’d make us great meals. We all looked forward to those times. Then, I had my own children and they got to enjoy spending time with her. Connor loved her salad and Jacob her chicken they’d both raved about it. Now, she’d tease Connor about his rabbit and sucking his thumb the same way she’d done to me all those years ago. Our last time together was Easter Sunday, we all played two games of LCR, and Connor won both. She was so so excited for him! She kept saying she was his good luck charm, and she truly was all our good luck charms. We all loved her dearly and will miss her so very much. She’ll live on in our hearts and memories always xoxo Jen, Chris, Connor and Jacob Kelly
So many amazing memories, all the Sunday family dinners, always bringing the grandkids to get ice cream, spending a week during the summer at their house (letting me do whatever I wanted). I’ll miss her amazing cooking, her strong exterior (we all would joke she was grumpy) but always loving and caring, she was the best grandmother and I only named a few things but I will miss everything about her. love you so much vovo!!
It’s with such a sad heart to hear of the passing of this amazing women. Tia was always giving me her bits of her loving advice…and sometimes my reaction was too much for her and we would both breakout laughing. I had the pleasure of working by her side at Ives and it was always so much fun. Her and Tio were always with my parents…sharing food or playing card games. Great memories!! The love of Tia will endure in her amazing daughters, grandchildren and great- grandchildren.
Love, thoughts and prayers from us all – Joanna, Yamil, Justin, Marina, Mariela and Marisa
