Benjamin Rivera

Meriden- Benjamin Rivera, 65, passed away on Wednesday, May 16, 2007. He was born September, 16, 1941 in Aguada, Puerto Rico a son of Dominca Badillo Rivera and the late Santiago Rivera. Besides his mother, he is survived by three daughters, Rosemary Rivera and her husband Rene Simoneau of Meriden, Iris Rivera of Florida and Sandra Rivera of Meriden, three sons, Benjamin and his wife Anna Rivera Jr. of Florida, Ricardo Rivera of Florida and Christopher Chernack of Meriden, four sisters, Violet and Ada Rivera both of Meriden, and Tutu and Nilsa Rivera both of Puerto Rico. He also leaves many, many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother Wilfredo Rivera. A funeral service will be held on Monday, May 21 at 12:00noon at the Beecher & Bennett-Flatow Funeral Home, 48 Cook Ave., Meriden. Burial will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Meriden. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home on Monday from 11am - 12pm, prior to the service.
