In New London, CT, Sept. 8, 2006, Bikesh Patel, 32, of 59 Greens Ridge Rd., Hamden son of Suryakant and Urvashi Patel. He was born in Anand, India, August 12, 1974 and was a computer administrator for the Pfizer Pharmaceutical Company. Besides his parents he is survived by sisters, Binica (Nanukumar), Sangita (Ashwinkumar), Sushma (Dineshkumar), Charmisha (Kamleshkumar) and a brother, Bhavin his wife, Shilpa Patel. Also survived by nieces and nephews, Sujal, Binal, Kushal, Jason, Jessica, Khusbu, Hamel, Bindiya, Jay and Kishan Patel. Funeral will be held at BEECHER & BENNETT, 2300 Whitney Ave. Hamden, Tuesday September 12, 2006 at 11 a.m.

  2. A friendly, confident, smart young fellow whom I met at the BLC first time and subsequently few times here at the Groton. Always smiling and making fun! He would definitely stop by at everyone’s desk to whom he knew here at the Groton just to say hello whenevr he visited Groton! Never was hesitent to meet people at any level! I will pray Almighty God to bless his soul for eternal peace! My condolecence to his family . We have all lost a good friend and a co-worker at the Pfizer and at the BLC.

  6. Ben called me today and I was shocked that Bikesh had met an untimely death. I’d not spoken with Bikesh in a while, but he always had a GREAT smile, a good joke, and was generous to a fault. I don’t ever recall seeing him in a bad mood – he was a good man. He loved his BMW’s and the people associated with the Car Club, and he will be very much missed in the BMW car community.

  7. Bikesh always added something special every place he went. He always made me laugh, smile and of course do a shot with him. He will never be forgotten and always be remembered and missed.

We’ve been in touch with each other today for the first time in years, to share our rememberances of Bikesh, one of the truly generous and sweet souls any of us has had the pleasure of knowing. I last saw Bikesh on my wedding day, 8 years ago. I’ll always remember the easy laughter and love of life that defined Bikesh and made him so terrific to be around. His passing is a profound tragedy. I offer my deepest condolences to the Patel family, and to all who love and miss Bikesh. I miss him too.

Bikesh and I had great fun together in the BMW club doing all sorts of nonesense together. He was always a very generous sole to everyone he encountered. I will miss him dearly. Goodbye, my friend.   58. When Bikesh worked with me at SCSU in the Unix lab adjacent to my office he was a genuine day brightner! What a smile! Bikesh was kind, gentle, sweet and good-natured. Bikesh had a pure heart and was a dear soul. I’m sure he makes a wonderful angel where he is now; Earth’s loss is heaven’s gain, I suppose.
