Blanche Bryant Tate
WALLINGFORD - Blanche Bryant Tate, 89, of 7 McGuire Court, died Monday, Dec. 9, 2002, at the home of her son, Eugene McLean in Wallingford. She was the wife of the late Charles Tate. Born in Calais, Maine on August 13, 1911, she was the daughter of the late Oscar and Cora Seeley Fenlason. She is survived by two sons and their wives, Clyde and Patricia McLean of Riverside, CA and Eugene and Nettie McLean of Wallingford; a sister, Arlene Henderson of Skowhegan, ME; six grandchildren, Deborah Bell of Mira Loma, CA, Clyde A. McLean of Rich Cucamonga, CA, Trace Prentice of Riverside, CA, Jane Elizabeth McLean of Wallingford, Eugene P. McLean of Meriden and John P. McLean of Wallingford and nine great-grandchildren, Corinne J. McLean, Karley M. McLean, Kyle J. McLean, Nash A. McLean, Brittany Bell, Connor McLean, Kathryn McLean, Bronwyn Prentice and Payton Prentice. She was predeceased by a sister, Doris Spencer and a brother, Oscar Fenlason. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are under the direction of the Beecher and Bennett Flatow Funeral Home, 48 Cook Ave., Meriden.
