Wallingford, Bruce E. Conroy, 66, husband of the late Marianne (Bortolan) Conroy died unexpectedly on Wednesday, May 7, 2014. He was born May 18, 1947 in New Haven a son of the late Lorraine Conroy. Bruce worked for Finest Floors of Wallingford and retired from Expert Floors. He had a strong love for riding his Harley Davidson, his dogs and fishing. Bruce lived with his grandson, Anthony and great-granddaughter, Kayla, who were a great comfort to him after his wife passed away. He is survived by his five children and their spouses, Mimi and Robert Angiletta of Meriden, Bruce and Aili Conroy of Wallingford, Joe Gambardella of Wallingford, Nancy and Robert Carney of Maine and Robert Gambardella of Florida and eight grandchildren Anthony and Chanel Gambardella of Wallingford, Marianne Gambardella of New Britain, Lori Gambardella of Florida, Joseph Gambardella Jr., of Wallingford, Erin Conroy of Wallingford, Brandon Angiletta of Meriden, Jackie Gambardella of Wallingford and Shawn Angiletta of Meriden. He also leaves two great-granddaughters, Alexia Harrison and Kayla Gambardella both of Wallingford and his 'grand puppies' Thor and Blu.
