Carl Edwin Stenquist

RIVERTON, WYOMING-Carl Edwin Stenquist, 89, died Monday, Sept. 25, 2000 in Riverton. He was the husband of the late Irene Buchs Stenquist. He was born in Stamford, CT, July 18, 1911, a son of the late Carl and Augusta Hanson Stenquist.He had worked as a litho-photographer at Miller-Johnson, Inc. in Meriden He was a member of Meridian Lodge #77, A.F. & A.M. and had been a member of the Center Congregational Church in Meriden. He is survived by a daughter, Karen E. Rowe of Dubois,WY; a son, Bruce C. Stenquist of Simsbury, CT; seven grandchildren, Steven Stenquist of Stamford, CT, Scott Stenquist of Stamford, CT, Sue Ellen Lyon of Easton, CT, Michael Rowe of Boise, ID, Andrew Rowe of Riverton, WY, Melanie Wilhelm of Anandale, NJ and Cynthia Stenquist of Raleigh, NC and eight great-grandchildren. The funeral will be held at 11:30 a.m.,Thursday, Sept. 28, 2000 at the Center Congregational Church in Meriden. The Rev. George H. True will officiate. Burial will be in Walnut Grove Cemetery. Relatives and friends may call at the church from 11 to 11:30 a.m. Arrangements are under the direction of the Beecher and Bennett Flatow Funeral Home, 48 Cook Avenue, Meriden, CT.
