Carmel Lucibella Ricciardi

Carmel Lucibella Ricciardi, 96, wife of the late Herbert Ricciardi, formerly of Westminster St., Hamden, passed away Sun., May 9, 2004 in CT Hospice after a brief illness. She was born in New Haven, Sept. 18, 1907 a daughter of the late Francisco and Angelina Carrano Lucibella and had resided in Hamden since 1940. She was employed for the former Alba Dress Co. as a seamstress for many years. Devoted mother of Peter E. Ricciardi and his wife, Susan of North Haven, Raymond J. Ricciardi and his friend, Diane Russo of Redding, CT. Loving grandmother of Lisa Ricciardi Bourget of Raleigh, NC, Karen Ricciardi and Michael Ricciardi both of Willmington, DE and Alex Ricciardi of North Haven. She is also survived by a brother, Frank Lucibella of Hamden and several nieces and nephews. Funeral from BEECHER & BENNETT, 2300 Whitney Ave., Hamden, Tuesday, May 11 at 9:30 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church at 10 a.m. Friends may call Monday (TODAY) from 4-8 p.m. Burial in St. Lawrence Cemetery.
