Carol M. Sexton

Carol M. Sexton, age 95, formerly of Hamden, passed away on February 3, 2017 at the Regency House in Wallingford. Carol was born in New Haven on February 6, 1921, a daughter of the late Antonio & Olympia (Lucci) DeVivo. She was predeceased by her husbands, Charles Drennan and William Sexton; brothers, Armando, Henry & Albert DeVivo and sisters Susan Sorrentino, Mary Merrick, Anna Rosetti, Amelia Candido, Olympia Gates and Florence Bilides. Carol is survived by her brother James DeVivo & his wife Rosemarie of Wallingford and several nieces and nephews. A resident of Hamden for many years, Carol was formerly employed at Winchester Repeating Arms and the RR Donnelley Companies. Friends may attend her Funeral Service on Friday, February 10th at 11:30 AM in the BEECHER & BENNETT FUNERAL HOME, 2300 Whitney Ave., Hamden. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery in Clinton.
