Catherine Jane Brumaghin McKinstry

Catherine Jane Brumaghin McKinstry, 91, of Wallingford, wife of the late George McKinstry, passed away at Village Green of Wallingford on November 13, 2010. She was born in New Britain on September 28, 1919. She grew up in New Haven having graduated from Hill House High School. She lived most her life in Wallingford and was a member of the Meriden Art Guild. She retired from Charles Parker Company as a bookkeeper in 1974 after 25 years of employment. Tennis, reading, and painting were Catherine's hobbies. Catherine leaves her daughters, Diane McKinstry of Wallingford, Claudia Kroeber and her husband Bruce of Meriden; son, Gary McKinstry of Meriden; grandson, Bruce Kroeber Jr. of Oxford; granddaughters, Kimberly Bianchi and her husband Michael of Meriden, Nicole Kroeber of Waterbury, Ashley Pacelio of Wallingford; great-grandson, Cody Kroeber of Meriden. Service arrangements are private at the family's request and being handled by Beecher & Bennett – Flatow Funeral Home, 48 Cook Ave., Meriden.
