In Westerly, RI, July 14, 2006, Charles Arthur Bellmore of 165C Land Harbor Dr., Charlestown, RI, formerly of Oakdale, and West Haven, CT, husband of the late Doris Vanasse Donegan Bellmore and the late Grace Morris Bellmore. Born in Hamden, CT, Jan. 22, 1917, son of the late Charles S. and Alice Rancourt Bellmore. Mr. Bellmore was the Plant Coordinator for J. P. Stevens, Inc. in West Haven, retiring in 1974. He was a 60 year member and Past Master of Annawon Lodge # 115 and Hiram Lodge # 1, A.F. & A.M. He was a Past Patron of Golden Rod Chapter # 34, O.E.S. and Milford Court # 9, Order of the Amaranth. He served many years as Cub Master for the Cub Scouts in Allingtown. He is survived by a daughter; Dawn B. Thurston of Charlestown, RI, three sons; Ronald E. Bellmore of Ansonia, Roger C. Bellmore and his wife, Sharon of Durham, NC and Bruce R. Bellmore and his wife, Patricia of West Haven, 6 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren and a stepdaughter, Susan Wheeler of Quaker Hill, CT, 2 step grandchildren and 4 step great-grandchildren. Funeral service at BEECHER & BENNETT - TAYLOR FUNERAL HOME, 410 CAMPBELL AVE., WEST HAVEN, Monday at 11 a.m. Friends may call Sunday from 4 - 8 p.m. A Masonic Service will be held on Sunday at 7:30 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the Masonic Charity Foundation of CT, P.O. Box 70, Wallingford, CT 06492.

  4. I worked with Charlie many years ago in the .web shop.-United Elastic on Front Avenue in West Haven. He was a very nice person and I am sorry to read of his demise but it looks like he lived a full life.
