Charlotte M. Trumbley, age 90, of Bethany, passed away on December 23, 2011. Charlotte was the widow of George Trumbley, Sr. Born in Orange, CT on February 23, 1921; she was a daughter of the late Frederick & Wilhelmina Marshall Wooster. Charlotte is survived by her daughter, Nancy Cahoon & her husband Steven of Bethany and her sons, George L. Trumbley, Jr & his wife Linda of Bethany & Thomas W. Trumbley & his wife Kathy of Oxford; her sister Barbara Johnson & her husband Norman of Sharon; 7 Grandchildren & 10 Great Grandchildren. Charlotte was predeceased by her brothers, Frank & George Wooster. Being a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother was one of the most dearing and valued aspects of Charlotte's life. They were a cherished part of her life that will be missed but never forgotten by her and them as well. Friends may visit with her family at BEECHER & BENNETT FUNERAL HOME, 2300 Whitney Ave, Hamden on Tuesday Dec. 27, 2011, from 5:00 to 8:00 PM. Her Funeral Service will be held that evening at 7:30 PM in the funeral home. Friends may also attend her Graveside Service on Wednesday at 10:00 AM in Milfordside Cemetery, Race Brook Road, Woodbridge. Contributions in her memory may be made to VITAS Hospice Care, 1579 Straits Turnpike, Middletown, CT 06762 or Bethany Volunteer Fire Department, PO Box 92, Bethany, CT 06524.
