Claudia M. Moon
Claudia M. Moon, 83, of 2480 Whitney Ave., Hamden wife of the late Millard Doyl Moon, Sr, passed away Saturday, August 12, 2006. Mrs Moon was born in Seneca, SC, October 2, 1922, daughter of the late Claude and Lola Knox Miller. She was employed at B J's Store in North Haven since its opening. She is survived by a daughter, Carol Moon Roberts of North Haven, a son Millard Doyl Moon, Jr. of Maypearl, TX, a sister, Winifred Miller Abercrumble of Seneca, SC, 4 grandchildren, Tricia Roberts and Tracey Roberts both of North Haven, and Dana Moon and Matthew Moon both of GA. She was predeceased by a brother, Whit Miller. Friends may call at BEECHER & BENNETT, 2300 Whitney Ave., Hamden, Tuesday from 5-7 pm. Funeral service and interment will take place in Collage Park, GA.
I had the pleasure of working at BJ’s with Claudia the first 4 years they were open. She was such a happy person and always had a smile on her face. I just saw her a couple of months ago and I am very sad to hear of her passing. My thoughts are with her family and friends in this time of loss.
I have had the pleasure of working with Claudia for the past 4 years, and came to know her very well. She was a wonderful person and she will be deeply missed. I will never forget her smile. Claudia will always hold a special place in my heart. My deepest sympathy goes out to her family.
