At his home, Aug. 13, 2002, Conrad E. Palmer, 78, of 309 Terrace Ave., West Haven, husband of Dolores Martin Palmer. Also survived by sons, Carleton Palmer of New York, NY, Byron Palmer of Atlanta, GA, Reuben Palmer of New York, NY, Ralph Palmer of New York and Walter Geter of Englewood, NJ, and daughters, Leslie Palmer of Brooklyn, NY, Barrette Palmer of New York, NY, Cheryl Faust of New York, NY, Vanessa Skyes of Kingston, NY, Victoria Geter of New York, NY, Talan Oneza of West Haven, Shshi Maisa of Rockland, NY, 21 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by brothers, Earl and Vernon Palmer. He worked for the New York Transit Authority of 32 years as a railroad clerk and retired in 1987.He was a veteran of the British Royal Air Force during WW II. He was a member of the Milford Camera Club and the Yama Ki Bonsi Society in Stamford, CT. Memorial service will be held Tuesday, Aug. 20 at 1 p.m. at BEECHER & BENNETT TAYLOR FUNERAL HOME, 410 Campbell Ave. at Court St., West Haven. Interment will be at Evergreen Cemetery. Contributions may be made to the Children's Hospital at Yale New Haven, 20 York St., New Haven, CT 06505.
