Cynthia Stiles (Waller) DellaCamera, 79, of Cheshire, passed away on March 5, 2022 at LiveWell in Plantsville, CT. She was born in Meriden on March 31, 1942 a daughter of the late Theodore and Jeannette Chalker Stiles. She is survived by her son, Donald Waller and his wife Donna Libby of Meriden, and daughters, Jennifer Brazel and her husband Tim of Meriden and Wendy Bert and her husband Jeffrey of Amelia Island, FL. She is also survived by her sister Pamela Stiles, and grandchildren, Alison Pehr and Bryan, Ethan, and Logan Brazel. Cynthia attended Cheshire High School and went on to graduate from Quinnipiac College. She worked for many years at Liberty Bank in the Facilities Department after being a homemaker when her children were young. In her free time she enjoyed being outside working in her gardens and walking her dogs. Over the years she volunteered with her children’s activities including being a Boy Scout Den Mother and a Girl Scout Troop Leader. As her grandchildren grew she enjoyed attending their recitals, sporting events, and theater performances. She loved her animals and was a supporter of the Meriden Humane Society. Her family wishes to thank the staff at LiveWell for caring for her in her final years, and also her sister Pam for spending so many months caring for her.
Friends are invited to visit with Cynthia’s family on Wednesday, March 9th from 4-7 p.m. in Beecher & Bennett-Flatow Funeral Home, 48 Cook Ave., Meriden. A service celebrating her life will be held in the funeral home on Thursday, March 10th at 10 a.m. Interment will follow in Walnut Grove Cemetery.
