Daniel Chester Dengate, Sr.
Wallingford - Daniel Chester Dengate Sr., 53, died unexpectedly on Wednesday, September 22, 2010 at Yale New Haven Hospital. He was born May 24, 1957 in Altoona, PA a son of the late Chester Ellsworth and Betty Jane (Schaffer) Dengate. He was employed at Times Microwave Systems in Wallingford for the past 20 years. 'Big Dan' you will be missed by all. He is survived by a daughter June and her husband Christopher Moss of Rock Hill, SC, a son Daniel Dengate Jr. of Altoona, PA, two sisters; Rebecca Dengate- Booterbaugh of California and Helen and her husband Joseph Pyzowski of PA. and a brother David and his wife Sally Dengate of Arizona. He also leaves two grandchildren Sierra Moss and Christopher Moss Jr. as well as many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends may call at the Beecher & Bennett-Flatow Funeral Home, 48 Cook Ave., Meriden on Sunday, September 26, 2010 from 12noon - 3pm. Burial will be in Blair Memorial Cemetery in Bellwood, PA at a later date.
Dan, I will miss your sweet smile, daily waves and small talks we shared. I will miss the .teddy bear. of a man that I got to know these past 2 years at TMS. Rest in Peace my friend
