When we lose someone we love we are like people on a shore watching the boat sail away saying .There he goes. and we are sad. But, on the other shore is a whole group of people including Dick and Mary, Bill and Mary and they are all excited saying .Here he comes.. Love to you all.

  23. For the past few months Dan had been my daughter’s rock. They were there for each other each day and they truly lifted each other up in a tough time. 29. Dear Tracey, Rich, Patrick, Meg and family. Accept my heartfelt condolences. There are no words adequate for your loss. May God be with you, give you peace, strength, and comfort. Psalm 34:18 18The LORD is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.

  30. I can’t say I know your pain even though I have been through it, I have lost a son as well, because everyone grieves differently and every loss is different. I can say my heart aches for you both. Even though we don’t know each other well, if I can share the ways I have found comfort over the last 6 years…I am here to help if I can. Here is a poem that gave me comfort…it is more for you Tracey, but I hope you can find comfort as well, Rich. My thoughts and prayers are with you both. The Cord by Author Unknown We are connected, my child and I, by an invisible cord not seen by the eye It’s not like the cord that connects us ’til birth, This cord can’t be seen by any on earth This cord does its work right from the start It binds us together, attached to my heart I know that it’s there, though no one can see The invisible cord from my child to me The strength of this cord is hard to describe It can’t be destroyed, it can’t be denied It’s stronger than any cord man could create it withstands the test, can hold any weight And though you are gone, and not here with me The cord is still there, but no one can see It pulls at my heart, I am bruised, I am sore But this cord is my lifeline as never before I am thankful that God connects us this way A mother and child, death can’t take it away
